Understanding Joint Health and Arthritis in Pets
Arthritis is a degenerative joint disease that causes inflammation and joint pain. It can affect pets of all ages but is more common in older animals. Prevention begins early and identifying the signs is key to managing your pet's condition lovingly and effectively.
Look for changes in Mobility, like stiffness, limping, reluctance to move or jump. Behavioural changes may also present themselves through increased irritability, sensitive areas when touched and sleep pattern alterations.
At the first sign of changes, note them down and arrange to speak with your Vet to correctly identify the cause.
